With the 10th overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, the Anaheim Ducks have selected Roger McQueen, 18-year old out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. McQueen is a 6’5, right-shot forward and weighs in at 192. McQueen was expected to be drafted by most in the top 10.
In his most recent season, McQueen had 20 points through 17 games, consisting of 10 goals and 10 assists with the Brandon Wheat Kings in the WHL.
This will be the third time in franchise history where the Ducks will select 10th overall in the draft. In the past they have notably selected Nick Ritchie (2014) and Pavel Mintyukov (2022). McQueen will be a fine addition to the Duck’s list of forward prospects.
